·         Executive level management of GSM North America, the North American Interest Group of the GSM Association.  InfoPATH provided a full time Director to GSM North America, providing complete operations and membership support, staffing, and conference management for over 3 years. 

·         Executive representation to the Organizational Partners meetings of the 3rd Generation Partnership Project (3GPP) 

·         Executive representation to Committee T and  the T1 Advisory Group. 

·         Software development of the TCP/IP internet communications protocol stack.

·         Software development of digital channel buffer back-pressure mechanisms for managing bandwidth usage in wireline video and data transmissions. 

·         Software development for custom programmable encryption co-processors.

·         Software development of a custom IEEE 802.3 Ethernet LAN communications device with product requirements documentation. 

·         Design and development of the operating system for a Multiprotocol Network Interface product, including buffer manager support for various TCP/IP and OSI drivers with functional specification documentation. 

·         Production of various digital-to-analog process controller and port driver prototypes.   

·         Management of testing for audio, video, data and facsimile telephony hardware and software, user interfaces, switched and packeted transmissions. 

·         Eligible to renew COM-SEC (Communications Security) clearance with National Security Agency, issued in 1992.

GSM North America is the North American Interest Group of the GSM Association and is the officially recognized body of the GSM Association in North America. Its mission is to facilitate the deployment and interoperability of North American GSM services and networks based upon open interfaces for Personal Communications Services (PCS). These interfaces include radio access, network intelligence, inter/intra network interactions, and operations support systems. The mission of GSMNA is to provide:

The North American GSM Alliance, LLC is a Limited Liability Corporation incorporated in 1997. The 3rd Generation Partnership Project (3GPP) is an international wireless standards organization established in 1998 and owned by a consortium of American, European, Japanese, Korean, Chinese and Australian regional standards bodies.  The original scope of 3GPP was to produce globally applicable Technical Specifications and Technical Reports for a 3rd Generation Mobile System based on evolved GSM core networks and the radio access technologies that they support.  The scope was subsequently amended to include the maintenance and development of the Global System for Mobile communication (GSM) Technical Specifications and Technical Reports including evolved radio access technologies (e.g. General Packet Radio Service (GPRS) and Enhanced Data rates for GSM Evolution (EDGE)).  For more information, see http://www.3gpp.org

 

Committee T1 is sponsored by the Alliance for Telecommunications Industry Solutions (ATIS) and accredited by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) to create network interconnections and interoperability standards for the United States. Input into the U.S. State Department’s ITU Delegation comes from Committee T1.  Committee T1 has six technical subcommittees that are advised and managed by the T1 Advisory Group (T1AG). Each technical subcommittee develops draft standards and technical reports in its designated areas of expertise.
